Inquiring Minds Want To Know: What Food Is Your Downfall?

Yep, that's it. My Kryptonite. Frosted Cherry Pop Tarts.

Not Strawberry. Cherry. And get right on out of here if you're the kind of person who eats their Pop Tarts unfrosted. What the hell is the matter with you people? Why even bother?

Anyway, I am helpless if they are in the house. Or a vending machine - though I honestly can say I've never seen them in a vending machine. Vending machines only stock Strawberry (which, again, is not as good - the frosting is thinner) or Brown Sugar Cinnamon, which is an acceptable alternative if Frosted Cherry is not available, but still not as good.

My daughter loves them too, unfortunately, so she begs me to buy them and of course, the box calls to me, singing its siren song of frosty, gooey goodness and I am undone.

Completely undone.

What about you? What food is your downfall?

  2. Chinese fried rice. I will eat it for breakfast, if available.

  3. Oh how accurately you describe this feeling... My downfall is caramel waffle (no matter homemade or not). If I know it is in the reach - i go and get it... and no diet can help it, like its calling for me) I wish I has strenth to resist!
